John Orsini joined BSHM Architects in 2008. John has been practicing architecture since 1991. Throughout the years, he had the opportunity to build a diverse portfolio, with a concentration in institutional projects. Project types include fine and professional arts facilities, libraries, and academic buildings. John’s primary focus has been in the development of buildings from programming/schematic through construction administration. He has the ability to understand the relationship between quality of space and realities of construction and project budget. To John, an understating of community and place is key to a successful project.
John’s work experience maintains all aspects of OFCC projects including project administration, project design, documentation, and project construction administration. Twenty-eight years of experience with 12 years extensively working on K-12 projects serving in all aspects of Professional Design Services for K-12 school and 12 years of OFCC K-12 experience. John was the Principal-in-Charge and designer of Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District’s $75M, 356,000 SF High School Add/Reno project delivered via the CMR method. John was Principal-in-charge of the completed master plan of two new educational buildings, renovations of two existing buildings and athletic upgrades for the Revere Local School District. Currently, John is the Principal-in-Charge and designer for Firelands Local School District’s new High School currently under construction.
