BSHM has assisted the South Range Local School District on numerous building projects over a twenty plus year relationship. South Range School District chose BSHM to provide architectural services for the OSFC K-12 Building.

The new K-12 building, serves 1,350 students and is on a campus which includes a geothermal well field, a bio-retention pond and the School’s Athletic Complex. Administrative areas contain both discreet and shared spaces. Since South Range is a rural community with no Central Business District or downtown, attention was paid to grouping public areas and spaces such as the student dining and media center areas together, spaces likely to be used after hours by the public or community campus. Although not funded for the Ohio Green Schools Initiative, the building achieved LEED Certification.
