As a result of a pipeline taxation, the district was able to fund their new PK-12 building; consolidating four elementary buildings, a middle and high school into one new 185,000 SF school building on adjacent land to their middle and high school campus.

The new building utilizes Extended Learning Areas and Project Based Learning spaces for all grade levels. The district was forward thinking with sustainability, flexibility, expansion and Student Centered Planning, while still honoring historic elements and aspects of the district’s previous buildings.
The project consists of the construction of a new PK-12 school building; and the abatement and demolition of Apple Creek Elementary School, Fredricksburg Elementary School, Holmesville Elementary School, Mount Eaton Elementary School, John R. Lea Middle School and Waynedale High School.
