Project Description

The second of two new elementary schools of identical size built as part of West Branch Schools OSFC CFAP Masterplan, this 52,420 SF building reflects the rural context of its neighbors. The location is on a redeveloped rural site, where the former school building was demolished. The plan takes advantage of the existing topography and utilities. Shingled gable pitched roofs and large window openings for a comprehensive day lighting strategy characterize the exterior. The interiors of the high bay spaces reflect the exterior volumes of the building.
