Project Description

Brookfield Schools currently has two elementary schools, a middle school and a high school located at separate sites. Under the Ohio School Facilities Commission Masterplan, the district will build a new K-12 building on a 46 acre previously undeveloped site, consolidating all their current activities. The one story 159,634 SF building will have three wings, each housing primary, middle and high school academic classrooms. These three major groups will share common areas such as the media center and cafeteria. A 400 seat auditorium which is a district LFI (Locally Funded Initiative) is also being designed as a part of this building program. The HVAC system plant will be a geothermal (ground source heat pump) system.
