Project Description

Originally designed by BSHM’s precursor firm in 1972, BSHM has designed several additions and renovations over the past 30 years. While in the midst of planning a major expansion for their adult education program, a fire destroyed 25,000 SF of existing building area. Faced with this loss, the School Board decided to take advantage of this tragedy and reprogram this portion of the building and construct a 38,000 SF addition which houses the district’s interactive multi-media program, gaming and info labs, 9 classrooms, conference center and board office. The construction was completed in phases with completion of the entire project in December of 2009.
